Lord and Lady Attenborough’s collection of Picasso ceramics is to be sold at a twoday art auction at Sotheby’s in London starting on Tuesday. The Tripode, left, made in 1951, is estimated to fetch £80,000£120,000, while the 1950 Grand vase aux femmes nues, above, is likely to make up to £300,000. Lord Attenborough, the film director, died in 2014 and Lady Attenborough in January this year.
