Thrash metal, a little night music

Chamber music, thrash metal and hymns rank higher than songs from musicals when it comes to what Britons play in the bedroom, a survey has found.

R&B was the most popular genre to put on as the lights go down, with 16 per cent of the 2,000 people surveyed choosing it as their favourite bedroom music. Chart music, classic pop and indie songs were also popular, the research by Birmingham’s Symphony Hall found.
