Ghana president’s office ‘missing 200 cars’

-

Ghana’s new government claims more than 200 cars are missing from the president’s office, including 122 Toyota Land Cruisers.

The cars were counted after the ruling New Patriotic Party took power in December. Among the missing cars were 13 Mercedes and four BMWs.

President Nana Akufo-Addo, who took over from John Mahama, of the National Democratic Congress, had been “forced to use a 10-year-old BMW” as a result, radio station Citi FM reported. A minister from the former government denied any wrongdoing.
