Girl, 8, acts to get swing for disabled twin
An eight-year-old girl who pleaded for a swing in a park for her disabled twin brother has had her wish granted.
Naomi and Isaac Gwynne have autism but he cannot hold on to a normal swing. South Lanarkshire council had just built the park near their home in Hamilton when Naomi wrote asking why they “forgot” Isaac. Six days later, a new swing was added. Their mother, Miriam, 40, said: “Let’s learn from Naomi and not forget people with disabilities.”
