Burglar dies after getting stuck in roof
The body of a burglar who died after getting stuck while breaking into a chemist has been discovered “several weeks” later.
The dead man was found by staff at Rowlands Pharmacy in the Queensbury area of Bradford on Thursday.
It is believed he had removed roof tiles to gain access to the building but was asphyxiated after becoming stuck. A local resident, who asked not to be named, said the body was discovered when staff at the chemist noticed a leak coming from the roof and looked to have it repaired.
According to a social media post from a local councillor, the man had been in the roof space for several weeks. Police are now investigating.
