Girl, 4, found walking dog alone in her pyjamas

A four-year-old girl was found by police walking her Staffordshire bull terrier alone wearing her Peppa Pig pyjamas.

Police in Burnley, Lancs, put out an appeal on Facebook to locate the child’s parents, saying that she was found wearing “blue Peppa Pig pyjama bottoms, a pink nightie with a sheep on the front and a white floral pattern coat”.

The girl was said to be “safe and enjoying a few slices of toast” at the police station, until her parents were tracked down.

The mother and father later picked her up from the police station.
