Mars is usually considered to be the best candidate for alien life, with evidence of water and methane. Saturn’s largest moon, Titan, resembles Earth and has a thick atmosphere but is too cold for liquid water. Jupiter’s Galilean moons Europa, Ganymede and Callisto are thought to harbour oceans under their surfaces.
