Intern emailed rape threats to Apprentice star
A DISMISSED intern bombarded an Apprentice star with threats to bring “rapists” to her office, a court heard.
Businesswoman Claudine Collins, who has been part of the BBC show since 2013, was sent 50 emails by a disgruntled intern.
Charlotte Ashton-Rickardt, 32, has pleaded guilty to harassment after sending the emails to Ms Collins.
Ms Collins, who grills contestants in the semi-final interview round before reporting back on each candidate to Lord Sugar in the boardroom, was sent the emails in her role as the UK managing director at MediaCom.
Graduate Ashton-Rickardt, from Hambrook near Chichester, West Sussex, pleaded guilty to one count of harassment without violence.
Deputy District Judge Adrian Turner ordered the defendant to continue the mental health treatment she has started, pay £105 costs and issued a restraining order that she should not contact Ms Collins.
