Indian arrests for ‘rape and murder’

A 23-year-old Indian woman was gang-raped and then murdered by men who smashed her skull with bricks after she threatened to inform on them, Haryana state police said.

Officers arrested two suspects in Sonipat, while six others were being investigated after the victim’s mother accused them of being involved.
