Numbers game Pressure on PM before Queen’s Speech

-

Three scenarios face the Prime Minister. First, a DUP deal is signed on Tuesday, avoiding the Queen having to present the Government’s programme before the votes are in place. The second is that a deal is agreed on Thursday, or even later – with a small risk that the Queen’s Speech is voted down because there is no formal deal with the Unionists.

The third scenario is that no deal can be agreed. This is unlikely, as one source even said a draft speech was agreed last Saturday.
