Kadeena Cox was a revelation in Rio last summer, winning gold medals both in athletics and cycling. Cox competes in the T38 400m, the race she won at the 2016 Paralympics. Paul Blake has one of the most extraordinary stories of any paralympian after his twin took most of the red blood
cells at birth, causing huge complications in his early life, He can repeat his gold medal success in Brazil in the T36 400m.
Foreign star
Ilse Hayes (below), the inspirational South African who won silver in the 100m T13 and 400m T13 will look to rediscover her 2015 World Championships form where she won gold in the 100m and 200m T13.
Don’t miss event
America’s world and Paralympic champion David Brown goes in the T11 200m, competing against Ananias Shikongo of Namibia, the Rio Games gold medallist over 200m. Shikongo lost his left eye aged three in a shooting accident and lost sight in his right eye after a donkey kicked him.
