Billionaire raises stake in Burberry

Shares in Burberry ticked up 0.6pc yesterday after the fashion house revealed the richest man in Belgium, billionaire Albert Frère, had raised his stake to 4pc from 3pc. Earlier this month at the group’s annual meeting, Marco Gobbetti, its new chief executive, met with a shareholder rebellion over executive pay.
