A female physics teacher struck off for having sex with a pupil on a flight from Geneva was framed by a boy who was attempting to seduce her with “sext messages”, her brother has claimed. Eleanor Wilson, 28, a Royal Navy reservist, was merely a victim of being “good looking” he said.

A FEMALE physics teacher struck off for having sex with a pupil on-board a plane was framed by a boy who was attempting to seduce her with “sext messages”, her brother has claimed.

Eleanor Wilson, 28, was given a permanent ban from teaching after she was accused of taking a pupil into a plane lavatory to have sex after having a number of drinks.

Her family have defended the Royal Navy reservist, who they claim is a victim of being “good looking”.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Jethro Wilson, her brother, strongly denied that the Bristol-based teacher had ever entered into sexual relations with the student, known only as Pupil A, adding that she had previously been “hassled” by male students. “I know they made it up, because he blackmailed her,” he added. “They made the story up and made it sound good.

“He had a crush on her. They were on an educational school trip and she didn’t want anything to do with them, so they made stories up about her. Good-looking teachers get picked out by students and they get hard done by.”

He added that the allegations were only made when Ms Wilson reported the pupil for sending her explicit photographs.

“She told me this student was sending her pictures, which she… sent to the school. He was sending her explicit images and she told the school what happened. She never had anything to drink on the plane, nothing went on. She never had any sexual relations with the student. She would never do something like that. She had a boyfriend at the time who she was happy with.”

Mr Wilson’s comments come a year after his sister was dismissed from a secondary school in Bristol, which cannot be named for legal reasons. Whilst she was accused of having sex with the pupil on Aug 2 2015, details only emerged seven months later, when another pupil attempted to blackmail her.

In email exchanges later obtained by police and the school, the student, known as Pupil C, demanded that Ms Wilson have sex with him or face being exposed. When she refused, the matter was taken up by the school, which later dismissed her. She was then summoned to a professional misconduct hearing earlier this month, where she was accused of engaging in sexual activity with Pupil A during a school visit to the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland.

The hearing also heard that she struck up a relationship with the boy, who alleged that they had met several

times out of school and engaged in kissing and inappropriate touching.

While Ms Wilson admits to meeting the student outside of school, exchanging text messages, and to hugging him on “occasion”, she has strongly denied that the pair ever kissed or had sex.

Avon and Somerset Police confirmed yesterday that Ms Wilson had voluntarily attended an interview in May, but is yet to be charged with any offence.

However, the disciplinary panel concluded that Pupil A had been a credible and reliable witness, finding her guilty of unacceptable professional conduct and bringing the profession into disrepute. Her school yesterday released a statement “unreservedly” condemning her actions. “Her conduct represents a shocking abuse of her position of trust as a teacher,” a spokesman said.

Ms Wilson was unavailable when approached for comment.
