RBS non-exec steps down after two months

John Hughes has stepped down from Royal Bank of Scotland’s board due to health reasons, after having joined as a non-executive director in June. The bank said that Mr Hughes had left the post with immediate effect. Mr Hughes previously served at the accountancy firm KPMG, as a senior audit partner and UK head of banking.
