Warnings over sugar in store meal deals

Action on Sugar is calling for retailers to drastically cut the sugar in popular “any sandwich, snack and drink” combination deals by excluding high sugar drinks and confectionery that carries a red traffic light label.the worst offending combination found was sold by Whsmith of a sandwich, a Mountain Dew Citrus Blast and Skittles Crazy Sours containing 855 calories and 30 teaspoons of sugar.
