 As one of the first films to feature online communication as its main storyline, this lightweight comedy now feels slightly dated. Yet, Whoopi Goldberg is, as ever, fun, playing a bored data-entry worker at a bank. One day, she receives a message from an undercover spy on the run from the KGB, thrusting her into the middle of a global espionage operation. Penny Marshall makes her directorial debut.
