March 28 2011: Peter Bone said his wife wanted David Cameron to rule out taking part in EU bailouts and asked: “Will the Prime Minister satisfy Mrs Bone?” David Cameron replied: “I am fast coming to the view that Mrs Bone is quite literally insatiable.”

June 27 2011: Mr Cameron said: “I feel that a very big part of my life is trying to give pleasure to Mrs Bone.”

July 20 2011: Peter Bone asked Mr Cameron during a discussion about journalist­s visiting Chequers: “Mrs Bone was wondering whether those visits would stop, which would open up weekends when I understand she is free.”

Mr Cameron replied: “As long as Mrs Bone does not insist on a slumber party, that is a very good idea.”

Jan 31 2012: After saying Mrs Bone had been singing in the bath, Mr Bone asked Mr Cameron if he could bring her to the party conference.

Mr Cameron replied: “I would not want to get her out of the bath.” July 2, 2012: After Mrs Bone had been invited to No 10, Mr Cameron said: “As ever, I am looking forward to meeting with Mrs Bone but – how can I put this – I do not want to get her too excited before the big day.”

Nov 12 2013: Labour’s Steve Rotheram joked of Jeremy Hunt: “He has been forced to answer more urgent questions than the Prime Minister about Mrs Bone.”

Oct 19 2016: Speaking on Mr Bone’s birthday, Theresa May said: “I’m very happy to wish you a very happy birthday today, many happy returns. I hope that Mrs Bone is going to treat the occasion in an appropriat­e manner.”

Nov 2 2016: Peter Bone’s final mention of his wife in Parliament, a petition by three councillor­s including “Councillor Mrs Bone”.

Oct 16 2017 On a question about the Commons car park, John Bercow said: “I hope that that provides satisfacti­on to the Hon Gentleman and of course, more importantl­y, to Mrs Bone.”
