Meghan wows the crowds in Wales
Meghan Markle channelled the public’s attention on her for a good cause, wearing an outfit designed to save community jobs and offer medical treatment to impoverished children.
Ms Markle wore a pair of black trousers by The Hiut Denim Company, based in Cardigan and set up to save a community deeply affected by the closure of a factory. The jeans, thought to be the high-waisted “Dina skinny fit” cost £175, and are now likely to sell out quickly, giving the company global profile.
She carried a green £295 Demellier Mini Venice handbag. The company works with charity partners in Somalia and Zambia and promises: “For every bag you purchase, Demellier funds life-saving vaccines and treatments aimed to save the life of a child in need.”
Ms Markle also wore a long, black £1,350 Stella Mccartney tie detail coat with peak lapels, a V-neckline and oversized waist tie, and a smart off-theshoulder jacket with a textured yarn-dyed plaid by Theory.
