The pint paid for

SIR – Like Andrew J Rixon (Letters, February 3), I find that a friendly request in a pub usually results in my glass of beer being topped up.

However, I really don’t see why I should have to ask. I am the customer, and I am paying for a full pint.

The root problem lies in the refusal of pubs to use over-sized glasses. Harry Easun
