Workers dismantle prosthetic arms made by 3D printers that had been attached to a replica of the Venus de Milo for an auction by Handicap International. The charity is campaigning to expand the use of resin-based “printed” limbs, which it says are easier to produce than traditional prosthetics, particularly in poorer countries. The auction took place at the Louvre-rivoli metro station in Paris last night.
