Millennials give BBC radio a poor reception
The amount of time millennials spend listening to music streaming services has overtaken the hours they listen to BBC radio for the first time ever.
The broadcaster yesterday outlined the challenges it faces and the risk of an “imminent threat” to British content in its annual plan.
From October to December 2017, it said, 15- to 34-year-olds listened to streaming services like Spotify for five hours a week compared to four hours 30 minutes listening to BBC radio.
