Boy, 8, threatened to cut fellow pupil’s throat
An eight-year-old boy held a knife to a classmate’s throat and said he would “cut him”, it has been revealed.
The youngster, who had previously had the knife confiscated, took it out of his teacher’s desk to threaten the other pupil at St Paul’s Primary School in Primrose Hill, north London.
In a meeting to discuss knife crime at Camden Borough Council last Monday, officials heard how the boy has since written to the victim and apologised for the January attack.
A spokesman for the school said: “We took the appropriate action for dealing with the incident as we would in any serious matter.”
