Monday March 25
Mr Corbyn apologises for “pockets of anti-semitism” in the Labour party but does not address criticism over the mural.
Tuesday
Jewish leaders organise unprecedented protest against anti-semitism in the Labour Party in Parliament Square, pictured left and top. Mr Corbyn apologises about the mural post, saying: “I am sorry for not having studied the content of the mural more closely before wrongly questioning its removal in 2012”.
Wednesday
Mr Corbyn’s membership of five Facebook groups which featured anti-semitic posts emerges.
Friday
Christine Shawcroft, above right, quits as Labour disputes chief after it emerges she opposed the suspension of a Labour council candidate accused of Holocaust denial. It emerges Labour quietly reinstated at least six councillors who posted anti-semitic messages online.
Saturday
Ms Shawcroft resigns from the NEC, Labour’s ruling committee. Eddie Izzard, below, automatically takes her place. He vows to stamp out “stain of anti-semitism”.
Yesterday
Mr Corbyn deletes his personal Facebook account.
