British ticket scoops £121m Euromillions jackpot prize
A BRITISH Euromillions winner has claimed a £121.3 million jackpot, the third biggest win, Camelot has said.
The Lotto operator said there will be no information on whether it is an individual or syndicate winner or where the ticket was bought unless the ticketholder goes public.
Andy Carter, of Camelot, said: “We will look to support the winner as they take the first steps to enjoy this incredible win.” The winning numbers were 20, 23, 28, 30 and 44 and the lucky stars were 03 and 07.
The fortune almost matches the wealth of Adele, the singer, and Calvin Harris, the DJ.
In July 2011, Colin and Chris Weir became Europe’s biggest lottery winners when they scooped £161 million. They donated £1 million to the SNP. Adrian and Gillian Bayford, from Suffolk, won £148 million in August 2012. The next biggest winner, of £113 million in 2010, opted to remain anonymous.
