Everything Mask, £15 (joshwoodcolour.com)
Asession with colourist Josh Wood costs £1,000 – assuming you can get one. This is a busy man.
Five minutes with his new hair mask, on the other hand, will set you back £15. Well less, because you’re only using a fraction of the contents. Bargain.
It won’t actually colour your hair, of course – although he has just brought out a range of hair dye. However, it does something equally miraculous – transforms texture and condition. If you mix in a squirt of one of his Shade Shots, £5, as per instructions, it will also zing up your tones. I’m not saying use it instead of Phillip Kingsley’s Elasticizer (£32, philipkingsley. co.uk), which is a pre-shampoo treatment, I’m saying use it as well as, after shampooing.
I know – the upkeep. But no one said glossy hair was a walk in the park, especially after you’ve been for a walk in the park.
