Snowboarder’s body recovered

Police have recovered the body of a British snowboarder who disappeared in the French Alps in January.

The body is thought to be that of John Bromell, 39, from Willingham by Stow, Lincs, who went missing on Jan 7 in the resort of Tignes.

Mr Bromell was snowboarding alone when he vanished. His body was found in a stream by fishermen.
