An underwater statue, Christ of the Abyss,

weighing 30lb and standing at 32in high, has been stolen. The theft, off the coast of Vallevò, Chieti, Italy, about 100 miles east of Rome, was discovered on Monday when divers arrived to clean the submerged attraction.
