Tycoon denies punching Uber bonnet

 A Russian tycoon has denied punching an Uber car after he turned up late for his booking.

Yevgeny Chichvarkin, 43, allegedly dented a white BMW belonging to Lefter Petronel-sebastian in Soho, central London, on Dec 9 last year, a court heard.

The driver claims that when Mr Chichvarkin was told the booking had been cancelled, he banged his fist down on the bonnet.

Mr Chichvarkin, who lives in exile in London, denied criminal damage at Westminster magistrates’ court and will stand trial on Aug 17.
