attributed to Marcus Gheeraerts the Younger. William Hawtrey built the mansion in about 1565.

Sir henry Croke

(1588 – 1659), Clerk of the Pipe in the Exchequer, attributed to Marcus Gheeraerts the Younger. Sir Henry was in charge of the paper finance records.

Bridget Cromwell

(1624 – 1660) by Cornelius Johnson (1593 – 1661). Oliver Cromwell’s eldest daughter.
