Jailhouse croc

An enormous crocodile which weighs 1,328lb (602kg) has been caught after an eight-year hunt in Australia. The 15ft beast, which is believed to be around 60 years old, was found in a trap near the Northern Territory town of Katherine after first being spotted in 2010.

The animal was loaded on a trailer and taken to a crocodile farm to keep it separate from humans.
