Holy waters

A statue of the Virgin del Carmen is carried by members of the Great God Power brotherhood in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. Every year, the statue is transported by worshippers from its chapel to a beach in the harbour. Fishermen then put the Virgin on to a decorated boat and sail along the island coast.
