Labour’s Jewish vote
SIR – I believe that the Labour Party will not adopt the international definition of anti-semitism because the leadership believe the Jewish vote is not significant, and that power will be achieved if they continue the line they have up to this point.
I am ashamed of these people who are responsible for stoking the fire of anti-semitism instead of stamping it out.
The international definition of anti-semitism is adopted by all decent governments and is well recognised. Yet the Labour Party led by Jeremy Corbyn refuses to adopt it.
Decent, hardworking Labour MPS across the party had only the night before voted in favour of Labour adopting the international definition. Yet the leadership continues to promote a policy of singling out the Jewish people of this country as a special case.
I dread to think how they would treat the Jewish population if they got into power. Graham Marks
