Victim wept as stalker phoned her from prison
A stalker who was remanded in custody because it was feared he would contact his victim again phoned her hours later from prison.
Jonathan Edwards-hughes told Carla Cox he wanted to say sorry. She became tearful and hung up.
Magistrates at Llandudno heard that restraining orders were already in place preventing Edwards-hughes, 36, from contacting three other victims.
He pleaded guilty to stalking Miss Cox, who he met through a dating website. Yesterday, he was jailed for 16 weeks, told to pay her compensation of £500 and ordered not to contact her again.
