Policeman resigns after ‘sex romp’ with solicitor
A married policeman has resigned after an alleged sex romp with a woman solicitor in a busy station.
The officer and lawyer were found semi-naked in a “compromising position” in an interview room at the police station at Cockett in Swansea, a source said.
South Wales Police said a misconduct investigation was under way.
The force said an officer based in its Western basic command unit or BCU – which covers Swansea and Neath Port Talbot – had since handed in his notice.
