SALVATORE FERRAGAMO WANTS YOU TO DRESS LIKE A SPICE RACK
Rather than rejecting this autumn’s Seventies colour palette of brown, orange and yellow altogether in favour of classic summer colours, the new collections pushed it further towards spice-rack richness. The best examples were at Salvatore Ferragamo, where cumin-seed beige tailoring was topped with a delicious saffron orange coat (in duchess satin again) and sheer turmeric layers paired with star-anise leather. Tantalising, especially considering that we didn’t have time to stop for lunch between shows.
