Radio host gets death threats by mistake

A local BBC presenter has received death threats after being mistaken for a French rapper who was accused of racism.

Nick Conrad, who presents a show on Radio Norfolk, shares a name with a provocative French rapper, who released a music video called Pendez Les Blancs – which translates to “hang the whites”.

Mr Conrad said: “People have taken to the likes of Twitter to vent their fury at the rapper and rather than directing it at him…i’m getting death threats in French.” Mr Conrad has reported the threats to the police.
