Washing instructions

SIR – I recently bought a “face cloth” from a well known high street chemist. Attached was a label telling me how to use it.

“Apply your favourite cleanser to you face and neck. Rinse the face cloth in warm water, squeeze out the excess water and gently wipe away the cleanser. Gently pat skin dry with a towel. Rinse the cloth well after use and allow to dry.”

So, finally, I have learnt how to use what I have always called a “flannel”. Heather Catterfeld
