Man, 22, pleads guilty to killing his mother
The son of a shop manager found dead at her home has pleaded guilty to killing her. The body of Fiona Fisher, 51, was discovered in Crowborough, East Sussex, in April.
Police, called to the property by concerned relatives, were met by her son, Thomas, 22. Yesterday, at Lewes Crown Court, he denied murdering his mother, but admitted manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility. The plea was accepted and Fisher will be sentenced on Nov 1.
