Suu Kyi challenged by her brother over villa
Burma’s leader Aung San Suu Kyi, condemned by the international community for her handling of the Rohingya crisis, is facing a court challenge from her own brother over ownership of the family home.
Aung San Oo is claiming half the value of the colonial-style villa where his sister was held for 15 years under house arrest. A previous court decision had awarded the house to Miss Suu Kyi, but Mr Oo has now appealed to Burma’s supreme court.
