Strictly’s Walsh sashays into next show after reprieve

SEANN WALSH, the Strictly Come Dancing contestant, narrowly avoided leaving the show last night as he was saved by the judges after losing a public vote to take part in the dance-off.

The comedian and Katya Jones, his married dance partner, have been at the centre of a scandal since photographs emerged of the pair kissing two weeks ago.

However, Vick Hope, the radio DJ, and Graziano Di Prima, her professional partner, ultimately became the fourth pair to exit the show after scoring just 20 points for their cha cha cha.

Strictly was the most watched programme on Saturday with an average of 9.9 million viewers. However, controversy has surrounded the show since Walsh and Jones were pictured kissing on a night out in central London.

Neil Jones, Katya Jones’s husband, is also a dancer on the show. Walsh’s girlfriend, Rebecca Humphries, the actress, announced on Twitter last week that she was leaving the comedian. The 11 remaining couples will return this week for the Strictly Come Dancing Halloween special episode.
