OPINION AT WESTMINSTER

Our Parliamentary Correspondent states that members of the Commons were practically unanimous in condemning the German reply as calculated to retard rather than hasten peace. They felt its aim was simply to encourage defeatists and pacifists in Allied countries, and justify Kaiserism in the eyes of the German people.
