1972 Franklin film to be shown at last

The Aretha Franklin concert film, Amazing Grace, will finally be released after 46 years, premiering on Nov 12 at the DOC NYC film festival.

The delay was caused first by editing problems, then Franklin stopping producer Alan Elliott, who fixed the problems, releasing it without her permission in 2011. It now has the full support of Franklin’s estate.
