Eight feared dead as flats collapse

As many as eight people were feared dead yesterday after two apartment blocks collapsed in Marseille on Monday.

French prosecutors said rescuers who worked through the night found the bodies of two men and a woman separately under the 50ft pile of rubble and at least five people were reported missing.
