Penny fare

-

SIR – My wife and I are happy to pay a fare on buses when travelling with our dog Penny (report, November 30).

More than once, the driver has helpfully explained that we will save money over separate adult and doggie fares by buying a one-day family pass. This concept makes my wife Kim, who adores our furry, stinky, duvethogging little companion, very happy. Sadly, Penny hates buses. Even worse, the pass is not called a “rover”. Victor Launert
