The Princess Royal, accompanie­d by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today carried out the following engagement­s in Chile.

Her Royal Highness this morning visited 11th Fire Company, George Garland, Melgarejo 210, Valparaiso.

The Princess Royal afterwards took the salute at a Parade at Arturo Prat Naval Academy, Francisco González de Hontaneda 11, Playa Ancha, Valparaiso.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Naval Museum at Arturo Prat Naval Academy.

The Princess Royal subsequent­ly unveiled a statue of Admiral Lord Cochrane at Arturo Prat Naval Academy.

Her Royal Highness later attended a Luncheon at the Chilean Navy Headquarte­rs, Plaza Sotomayor, Valparaiso.

The Princess Royal afterwards laid a wreath at the Monumento a Los Heroes de Iquique and visited the Tomb of Arturo Prat, Plaza Sotomayor.

Her Royal Highness subsequent­ly visited the bust of Piloto Luis Pardo, Muelle Prat, Valparaiso.

The Princess Royal afterwards named a lifeboat at Botes Salvavidas Lifeboat Centre, Muelle Prat, Valparaiso.

Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner at Valle Alegre, Valparaiso.

The Duke of York this afternoon arrived at Ho Chi Minh City Airport, Vietnam, and was received by Mr Ian Gibbons (Her Majesty’s Consul-general for Ho Chi Minh City).

His Royal Highness later attended a Business Reception at the Sofitel Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City, marking the Forty Fifth Anniversar­y of Anglo Vietnamese Diplomatic Relations.

The Princess Royal, accompanie­d by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning attended the Bicentenar­y of the Chilean Navy Fleet Review onboard SARGENTO ALDEA, moored in Valparaiso Bay, Chile.

Her Royal Highness, accompanie­d by Admiral Laurence, this afternoon departed Arturo Merino Benitez Internatio­nal Airport for the United Kingdom.

KENSINGTON PALACE December 2nd

The Duke of Gloucester and The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Friends of St Paul’s Cathedral, this evening attended the Advent Procession in St Paul’s Cathedral, London EC4.

The Duchess of Gloucester, President, today presented the Royal Academy of Music Kohn Foundation Bach Prize and attended the final Concert of the Bach Cantata Series at the Royal Academy of Music, Marylebone Road, London NW1.

Her Royal Highness, President, afterwards attended the Musical Theatre Company show at the Royal Academy of Music.
