Four held over chainsaw theft of gallery’s tiara

The Daily Telegraph - - News -

Four suspects have been arrested over the theft of a tiara described as a “national treasure” from a gallery in Nottinghamshire.

CCTV showed the gang taking a chainsaw to an armoured display case at the Portland Collection in Worksop, on Nov 20.

The Portland Tiara, believed to have been worn by the Duchess of Portland at the coronation of King Edward VII, and a diamond brooch also stolen in the raid, are still missing.
