Scout leader jailed for sex with boys
A former Scout leader has been jailed for 11 years after a string of historic sexual offences against teenage boys.
Philip Levi, 73, pleaded guilty to charges relating to the abuse of five victims in his Harrow scouting group over a 13-year period in the Seventies and Eighties.
The youngest of his victims was 13.
Harrow Crown Court heard yesterday that Levi, a retired chartered accountant, pinned one of his victims down on a bed before engaging in sexual activity with him.
A statement from one of the victims said: “I hope he rots in hell for what he did to me.”
Other victims’ statements detailed mental torment and feelings of guilt suffered as a result of the abuse.
