Mccartney’s London home raided by thieves

-

Burglars have broken into Sir Paul Mccartney’s home in St John’s Wood, north-west London, police said.

Thieves targeted the former Beatle’s house at around 6.20pm on Friday Dec 7. It is not known if anything was stolen. A Scotland Yard spokesman confirmed: “Police were called to an address in Westminster following a report of a break-in. Officers identified signs of forced entry to the premises. No arrest has been made. Inquiries continue.”

It is not known if the musician, 76, or his wife Nancy Shevell were at home at the time.

Neighbours said the house had “cameras all over it” and could not imagine how the intruders managed to bypass them, it was reported.
