Mother took life over cancer fears

 A mother who overcame breast cancer hanged herself after wrongly fearing the disease had returned, an inquest heard. Dawn Cheetham, 43, a dental nurse, had been treated for the disease in 2015, but had become worried when she started developing pains and cramps in her stomach.

In July this year Miss Cheetham had an argument with Jonathan Mellor, her partner, when he went out with friends instead of being with her.

A hearing was told that Miss Cheetham was found dead at their home in Wardle, near Rochdale, Greater Manchester. A post mortem showed there were no cancerous cells.
