England stars’ brothers robbed at gunpoint
The brothers of two England footballers were beaten and robbed at gunpoint while eating breakfast at a café in Manchester.
Dane Rashford, brother of Manchester United player Marcus, and Tyler Alexander-arnold, sibling to Liverpool defender Trent, were taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary hospital after the attack on Saturday morning. A third man, said to be their friend, was also injured.
The assailants stole a Range Rover after taking keys and a wallet from Mr Alexander-arnold, a white BMW 3 series, and a watch that belonged to Mr Rashford. Police sources said the men had baseball bats, a machete and a shotgun when they ambushed the three men at the Caribbean restaurant.
Six men have been arrested.
